Integrating Emacs, Org mode and Google Calendar

Well, sort of.

This thread on on gnu.emacs.help is interesting in that it can allow you to work with your google calendar and org-mode after daisy chaining shell scripts and using Googlecl.  While this may not be a perfect solution, if you're willing to spend time tinkering with all the tools and scripts, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Gnus Topics

For those of you who are new to Gnus, it might be worth checking out the Gnus Topics.  It's simple as hitting t in the Group Buffer, which is a toggling command.  With the menu bar having the the Topic commands, it's easy to organise your groups in different categories.  You can move and copy groups and arrange them in any way you want.  The learning overhead is too small for you to not check it out.

No Gnus v0.13 released

Well, that was fast, innit? erm...no, Lars was learning the ropes of git tagging and got into a few typos.  So this should be the new release.

If you don't want the bleeding edge checkouts and only want the tagged releases as a zip file you can it here.  Replacing n0-13 with the new tag name when the next release is announced should get you the zip file of that release.

No Gnus v0.11 released

Lars has tagged and released No Gnus V0.11.  Read the post here.  Features and fixes in this post, though a bit terse, covers the highlights

For IMAP support alone, this is worth upgrading, especially IMAP search, IMO.

Note that you'd need git to clone the repository.
