Making WinEdt work with MiKTeX 2.8
Apparently people are running into some issues making WinEdt work with the latest version of MiKTeX. The following post by the WinEdt team might be of use to WinEdt users. It details how to fix WinEdt to make it call MiKTeX properly.
I tried to fix my WinEdt to work with the Update wizard of MikTex 2.8, and followed Alex's instructions in the post (modified 3 entries in the menu setup), but it did not fix the problem: the menu entry for the miktex update wizard is still grayed out. I hope that the next WinEdt version will fix this recurring problem, which appears with each new version of MikTex.
